The Story Behind Bebe Spice
Hi, I’m Dhruv, the founder of Bebe Spice. With the support of my close family, friends, and partners, Bebe Spice was born out of a simple need: to bring efficiency and variety to the kitchen without the clutter and cost of overbuying.
After spending nearly two decades in the world of scientific solutions, I took time off to travel the country. Each month, I found myself in a new city, eager to immerse myself in local cuisine and try new recipes. But every time I stocked my kitchen, the cost of ingredients and the clutter that followed felt overwhelming. My partner's disapproving looks when our cabinets overflowed with rarely-used spices sparked an idea.
Reflecting on my scientific background, I realized that the best experiments succeed with optimized, tailored solutions. Just as leftover reagents and wasted materials were frustrating in the lab, the same issues of waste and inefficiency showed up in my kitchen. This parallel inspired the concept of Bebe Spice: a way to make cooking more efficient and less wasteful.
